USTMA’s annual Ambassadors Program provides the opportunity to emphasize issues such as industry economic impact, innovative infrastructure solutions, and sustainability with policymakers. Every year, Giti Tire sends a Giti employee to represent the program. This year, Ethan Pease from Innovation and Digitization was sent to Washington to participate on June 12 and 13.

He had the opportunity, alongside competitors Michelin and Continental, to meet with the staff of multiple United States House of Representatives and Senate members. Throughout this process, he was able to share insights into how end-of-life tires can be managed to make a positive impact on our country and the environment. End-of-life tires are a recycling challenge that many local governments struggle to address. This opportunity allowed him to discuss possible solutions alongside our competitors in a very collaborative and informative manner.
