Plant Facts

• The first manufacturing facility in the USA for Giti Tire, announced in June 2014, this is one of Giti’s 5 tire manufacturing plants globally.

• The nearly 1,500 acre site is located in Chester County, SC.

• The 1.7 million square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing plant and distribution center includes an R&D center, began production in October, 2017, and surpassed one million tires in 2018.

• Giti Tire’s $560 million investment has generated nearly 600 jobs.

• 95% of our employees live in South Carolina, and 87% live in Chester and the surrounding area.

• According to an independent study, Giti’s positive economic impact to Chester County and the I-77 Alliance region is $1.2 Billion.

• The facility generates approximately 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, producing PCR/LT tires for the replacement market and automakers in North America.
